by fifty six rolling acres of private property near the
Etruscan citadel Cortona.

There are five bedrooms, a large kitchen with separate walk-in pantry, first and second floor sitting rooms, a formal dining room and elegant but cozy living room with a wood-burning stove. Il Rifugio is constructed in the traditional old style
with stone walls inside and out. The ceilings are made with large chestnut
beams and terra-cotta bricks and the floors are terra-cotta tile.
The property offers the ultimate in privacy. It is rented
by the owners complete to individual parties with no apartments, other
guests in the house or nearby neighbors.
